I really want this to be a reflection of our daily lives, and for it to show the good the bad and the ugly. We don't' have the perfect life, but we are so completely blessed and I am thankful to God everyday for my many blessings. So here we go.....
Life with a 16 month old
Mary Scott is a fun and active 16 month old with LOTS to say. Many people call her my "minni me" and it really isn't far from the truth. I am a very outgoing person with LOTS to say (too much if you ask a lot of people) and she is exactly like that. She says too many words to keep count of, and picks up new ones everyday. Her favorite thing right now is "The Wheels on the Bus" and we must sing and go through the motions to that song at least 3 times a day. You can ask her what any of the people or things do and she will show you the motion and tell you what they say. Mary Scott also loves her Melissa and Doug puzzles and can do the large knob ones easily and she can do the sound puzzles with an occasional small amount of help.
She loves begin outdoors (Kevin and I both do) and we spend lots of our time outside. We spend lots of time on her little slide and we also run back and forth from fence to fence, which Mary Scott thinks is hilarious! I am the assistant soccer coach at Lexington, and she absolutely loves going to the soccer field and watching the kids run. I can't wait for the season to start and watch her interact with the girls more and to watch them actually get to play soccer and not just run.
I could go on and on, but I will save it for later. I also want to try and end my posts with a cool quote for my children to also have one day. I really want to try and enjoy each day as they come, and to remember how blessed I am no matter how stressful life can get.
As I grow to understand life less and less,
I learn to love it more and more.
