One of the first things we got to do this Christmas season was to go to a couple of parades. Mary Scott absolutely loved it, and kept asking to go again. Her favorite part was the marching bands. The first parade was the Carillon Parade that was in downtown Columbia. It in on the local TV, so it was kind of slow moving at parts and very long. Mary Scott's attention was better than mine or Kevin's and we got bored and went and walked to the end of the parade so we could see Santa and leave.
She also loved the candy that got thrown

Daddy and Mary Scott
The next day we had the parade in Lexington, which we love, because we can walk from our house. Mary Scott again loved the bands and they had therapy dogs, which she loved getting to pet.
This was a fantastic way to start off the Christmas season.
