We are Family!

We have been having so much fun with our families lately!  On Memorial Day Weekend, we went to my parents house to celebrate my dad's birthday.  We went to the pool to swim, which is Mary Scott's favorite, and then that night we went to a blue grass festival.  Mary Scott had so much fun dancing.

The next day we went to my grandma's house to have lunch to celebrate my dad's birthday with my grandma and Uncle Dwight.  Mary Scott loves grandma's cooking and especially the cake, as you can see below!

The next weekend Kevin's parents came down to spend some time with us.  We had fun just playing around the house, and Mary Scott loved being silly with Papa and Nana with her new swim ring.
This past week we went to see my Sister-in-law, brother, and their three boys.  Mary Scott loves her cousins and talks about them often.  They love her too, and they had so much fun playing with each other.  I can't wait to see them grow up together.  On Thursday nigh,t we got to see my oldest nephew at his swim meet, and we were so proud of him!  I can't believe he is old enough to be on a swim team.  We then went and had a treat at TCBY.  My girl loves her some "ogurt" and her sweet cousin Owen started sharing/feeding her his ice cream.

That night, Mary Scott, Noah and Owen stayed in the same room, and Owen was nice enough to give Mary Scott his bed.  She did great sleeping in his big bed, and they had so much fun staying in the same room.  We didn't get as much sleep as normal so we had some whiny melt down issues in the morning, but were able to enjoy a trip to the park, lunch at Cici's, and then we went to the coolest indoor play place.  A playset builder has a bunch of their playlets set-up for kids to play on, and on Fridays it is free.  The kids had a fabulous time, and the biggest hit was the tire swing.  The funniest thing was Mary Scott trying to walk after getting off of the tire swing.  Check out the video here-
We are really looking forward to getting to spend more time with the boys (and Ben and Jill) this next year before they move to Utah for a year :(

We are so blessed to have such an incredible family, and we look forward to getting to spend more time with them now that I will be working less.

Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life!  ~Albert Einstein
